  • 1 cup fine bulgur
  • 1.5 cup hot water
  • 1 small tomato
  • 3 leaves lettuce
  • 4 sprigs parsley
  • 2 sprigs spring onion
  • ½ small onion
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Put the fine bulgur into a deep and wide bowl, pour hot water over it, and mix. Cover and set aside until the bulgur absorbs the water.
