Cook and crumble the breakfast sausage in a large nonstick pan. Sprinkle flour on top. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk. Add salt and pepper and bring to a simmer. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 3 minutes, remove from heat. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a 10-inch cast iron pan. Cut each biscuits into four pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place around the edge of the pan so that they are touching. Spoon gravy into the middle. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until biscuits are browned.
