Method
- In a large bowl, combine Rice Chex, Cheerios, pretzels, M&M’s, and peanuts and mix well.
- Break almond bark into pieces and melt in a medium pot over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
- To melt the bark in the microwave, chop it into smaller pieces and place it in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Pour melted bark over cereal mixture and mix well.
- Spread out onto wax paper or a parchment paper–lined baking sheet. Let set for 1 hour, then break into pieces to serve.
Notes
- The bigger the mixing bowl: the easier it is to coat everything evenly.
- To melt the bark in the microwave: chop it into smaller pieces and place it in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Using almond bark: is preferred, but you can use white chocolate chips. Check out our How to Melt Chocolate post for tips.
- If you add other mix-ins: use ones that are similar in size, and be sure the ratio of snack mix to the candy coating is balanced so everything gets coated.
