Ingredients

  • 24 grapes Fresh green grapes stems removed, washed, and dried
  • 1 cup Kraft caramel bits 6 ounces
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup Chopped dry roasted peanuts
  • 1/4 cup Rainbow sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup Toffee bits such as Heath English Toffee Bits
  • 1/2 cup Marshmallow bits jet puffed mallow bits
  • 1/2 cup Shredded coconut
  • 2 Oreo cookies finely crushed
  • 1 sheet Parchment paper

Equipment

  • Chef's Knife
  • Baking Sheet
  • Frying Pan
  • Wooden Spoon

Method

  1. Place chopped peanuts, sprinkles, toffee bits, marshmallow bits, shredded coconut, and crushed Oreo cookies into small shallow bowls and set them aside.
  2. Line a cutting board or baking sheet with parchment paper and make a space in your fridge for it.
  3. Ensure the grapes are completely dry. If grapes are wet, the caramel will not stick. Insert a toothpick into each grape, at the end opposite of where the stem was, and set them aside.
  4. In a small saucepan, add the caramel bits and heavy whipping cream. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until the caramel is melted and smooth, about 5 to 8 minutes.
  5. With the caramel still over low heat, carefully dip each grape into the caramel, letting the excess drip off. Then, immediately dredge the grape in your topping of choice.
  6. Place the coated grapes onto the prepared cutting board lined with parchment paper.
  7. Once all the grapes are dipped and coated, refrigerate them for about an hour to let the caramel set.
  8. Serve grapes chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • Storage: After making Caramel Apple Grapes, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep them fresh. They can last up to three days.
  • Freezing: These grapes can be frozen, but keep in mind that the texture may change slightly after thawing. If you plan to freeze them, do so right after they've set.
  • Pairing: These grapes pair well with a variety of drinks. Serve them alongside hot cider or a refreshing lemonade for a delightful contrast.
  • Variations: Explore different flavor profiles by using flavored caramel or adding spices like cinnamon to the mix for a seasonal twist.
  • Presentation: For a stunning display, arrange the coated grapes on a beautiful platter garnished with fresh mint leaves.
  • Making Ahead: If you want to prepare these in advance, you can dip the grapes a day before serving—just make sure to store them properly!
