Method
- Whisk together the first 8 ingredients.
- Pour marinade into a large zip-top plastic freezer bag, and add chicken breasts or steak; seal bag.
- Chill for 2 hours.
- Grill chicken for 15 to 18 minutes or until done. Grill skirt steak for 3 minutes per side for medium-rare. Grill flank steak about 8 minutes per side.
- Remove from grill, and let stand for 10 minutes.
- Cut diagonally into 1/4-inch-thick strips.
- Serve with tortillas, sour cream, salsa, lettuce, etc.
Notes
- Omit sugar: For a low-carb dish.
