- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures that your dip will bake evenly and get that lovely golden crust on top.
- Butter or spray a deep 8x8 inch baking dish with cooking spray, then set it aside. This will help your dip not stick to the dish and make for easy serving.
- Take your rotisserie chicken and use your hands to shred it into tiny pieces. Place the shredded chicken evenly into the bottom of the baking dish. Add 1/2 cup of Caesar dressing over the top. The dressing won’t cover the chicken entirely, so just scoop it over as best as you can.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the American cheese, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, and 1 cup of Caesar dressing. Using a hand mixer, mix until everything is fully combined and creamy. This mixture should be smooth and easy to spread.
- Top the shredded chicken in the baking dish with the cheese mixture. Make sure to level the top with a spatula so that it bakes evenly.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Watch as the top turns golden brown and bubbly; this is when you know it’s nearly ready!
- After 25 minutes, you can turn on the broiler for an additional 2 minutes if you want to achieve a crispier top. Be sure to keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
- Once cooked, remove the dip from the oven and top it with the remaining parmesan cheese and the chopped green onions. This adds a wonderful freshness and makes it look appealing.
- Serve immediately while it’s warm and gooey. Enjoy it with your favorite dipping items like baguette slices, crackers, or fresh veggies!
Notes
When storing leftovers, keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days. This dip can also be frozen before baking. Just cover it tightly and freeze for up to three months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before baking.
