  • 1/3 cup Coconut aminos A gluten-free soy sauce alternative that adds depth and sweetness.
  • 2 Tbs Rice vinegar Provides tanginess to balance out sweetness.
  • 1 Tbsp Avocado oil A healthy oil option for frying.
  • 1 Tbsp Toasted sesame oil Adds a rich, nutty flavor to the dish.
  • 1 Tbsp Fish sauce Enhances the umami flavor of the marinade.
  • 1.5 tsp Garlic powder Infuses the chicken with aromatic flavor.

Method

  1. In a small bowl or measuring cup, stir together the ingredients for the marinade until well-combined.

  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 to 5 minutes. If necessary, spray the basket with cooking spray.
  4. Place the marinated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer with rounded side up.
  5. Air fry the chicken at 375 degrees for 14 minutes.
  6. Flip the chicken thighs and air fry for another 4 to 6 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve these juicy chicken thighs with your favorite side dishes for a complete meal.
