Ingredients

  • 4 frozen chicken patties
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 tbsp blue cheese dressing
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • ¼ onion, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 tsp cilantro, fresh chopped

Equipment

  • Chef's Knife
  • Air Fryer
  • Skillet

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes.
  2. Carefully place the frozen chicken patties into the air fryer basket. Make sure they don’t touch for even cooking. Air fry them for approximately 5 minutes.
  3. After 5 minutes, gently flip the patties over. This is where the magic happens as you get to see the beautiful golden-brown color developing. Continue to air fry for another 5 to 7 minutes until they're fully cooked through.
  4. For those using raw patties, make sure to monitor the internal temperature. It should reach at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit for safe consumption.
  5. Once they’re cooked, you can add the cheddar cheese slices on top of the patties. Air fry for an additional minute at 350 degrees Fahrenheit to get that melty goodness.
  6. Remove the patties from the air fryer using tongs, being careful as they will be hot. Place them on a plate and let them rest for a minute.
  7. Now it’s time to assemble! Take one of the buns and add a crispy patty. Top with a generous spoonful of blue cheese dressing and a drizzle of hot sauce for that extra kick!
  8. Add on the lettuce, onion, and a slice of tomato to finish off each burger.
  9. Finally, sprinkle some freshly chopped cilantro for that burst of flavor before placing the other half of the bun on top.
  10. Serve immediately while they’re hot, and watch everyone enjoy these crispy delights!
