  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 3 tablespoons Taco Seasoning
  • 16 ounces Refried Beans can
  • 16 ounces Guacamole homemade or store bought
  • ¾ cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese or Mexican cheese blend
  • ½ cup Diced Tomatoes fresh
  • ½ small Yellow Onion diced
  • ¼ cup Sliced Black Olives
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Fresh Cilantro
  • Tortilla Chips for serving

Equipment

  • 9-inch pie dish

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Set aside ¼ cup for later. Stir in taco seasoning.
  2. Add a layer of refried beans to a 9-inch pie dish, smoothing it out evenly.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the beans, smoothing it out again.
  4. Carefully spread guacamole on top and smooth it out.
  5. Create a spider web pattern in the guacamole using a knife or toothpick.
  6. Using a piping bag, pipe the reserved cream cheese mixture into the spider web design.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges, then top with diced tomatoes, diced onion, sliced black olives, and chopped cilantro.
  8. For the spider, place a whole black olive in the center and cut pieces for legs.
  9. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Enjoy with tortilla chips.
