Ingredients
  

  • cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups powdered milk
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • mini marshmallows

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, sift powdered sugar, cocoa powder, powdered milk, and salt. Mix to combine.
  2. Pour into storage containers and add mini marshmallows if desired. Keep in a sealed container at room temperature for up to 6 months.
  3. Mix ¼ cup hot cocoa mix with ¾ cup warm milk (the higher the fat content the creamier the cocoa), water, or non-dairy milk.
  4. The ideal temperature for hot drinks is between 160-185°F.

Notes

  • Storage: Store hot chocolate powder in one large airtight container. It can be kept in the pantry or cupboard for at least 6 months.
  • Freezing: Store it in the freezer for a year or more.
