- Start by placing cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese in a medium bowl. Stir them together until they’re well combined. This mixture will add creaminess to your layers.
- Next, grab your slow cooker and add a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom. This will help prevent the other ingredients from sticking.
- Now, it’s time to layer! Add a thin layer of the cooked and drained ground beef over the sauce.
- Take the lasagna noodles and break them to fit your slow cooker. Place a layer of noodles over the beef, making sure to cover the entire layer.
- Spread a layer of your cheese mixture on top of the noodles. Make sure to cover them evenly for a consistent flavor.
- Repeat the layers until you’ve used all the ingredients, making sure you finish with a layer of marinara sauce on top.
- Once layered, cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. This slow cooking time allows all those flavors to meld together into a delicious masterpiece.
- After the cooking time, check that the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve your Slow Cooker Lasagna hot and enjoy the hearty flavors!
