Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz freeze-dried strawberries
  • 6 tablespoons salted butter
  • 16 oz mini marshmallows plus 2 cups mini marshmallows, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 cups crispy rice cereal

Method
 

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch pan (or 9×9-inch pan for thicker treats) and set aside.
  2. In a blender or food processor, blend the freeze-dried strawberries to form a powder. Set aside.
  3. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add 16 oz of marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  4. Remove from heat and add the strawberry powder and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  5. Stir in the cereal and remaining 2 cups of marshmallows. Spread the mixture into the prepared pan and press gently with spatula to flatten.
  6. Cool in pan for about 30 minutes before cutting and serving.
