Ingredients

  • 4 12” wrap style tortillas
  • 0.5 cup Sun Dried Tomato Spread
  • 8 oz Boar’s Head Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, shaved
  • 4 cups fresh spinach

Equipment

  • Chef's Knife
  • Oven
  • Baking Sheet

Method

  1. Begin by taking your tortillas and laying them flat on a clean surface. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the sun dried tomato spread on each tortilla. Make sure to cover the surface evenly for great flavor.
  2. Next, layer on 2 ounces of turkey breast on top of the spread. You want to distribute the turkey evenly, so each bite has a good balance of flavors.
  3. Now, add about 1 cup of fresh spinach on top of the turkey. This not only adds a refreshing crunch but also makes your wraps look vibrant and appealing.
  4. Starting at one end of the tortilla, tightly roll it up. You want to make sure it’s snug but not too tight, as you don’t want the filling spilling out the ends.
  5. Once rolled, you can chill the wrapped tortillas in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. This helps the flavors meld together while making them easier to slice later.
  6. After chilling, take the wraps out of the fridge. If desired, cut off the ends to make them even, then slice each wrap into 8 portions. This makes them perfect for serving as bite-sized snacks or appetizers!

Notes

  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Freezing: You can freeze the wraps before slicing. Just make sure to wrap them tightly in plastic wrap.
  • Pairing: Serve these wraps with a light salad or a side of fruit for a balanced meal.
  • Vegetarian option: Omit the turkey and load up on veggies like sliced bell peppers, cucumbers, or shredded carrots.
  • Experiment with spreads: Try different flavors of spreads, like hummus or cream cheese, to switch things up.
