Method
- Start by preparing your sweet chili sauce. If you don’t have a store-bought version, you can easily create your own using the chili oil, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and chili flakes. Combine these ingredients in a jar and give it a good shake.
- Once your sauce is ready, take the salmon fillets and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Using a spoon or a brush, generously coat the surface of each salmon fillet with the sweet chili sauce.
- Next, I like to massage the sauce into the fillets gently.
- At this point, you can choose how you want to cook your salmon—bake or broil.
- If baking, preheat your oven to 420 degrees F.
- If broiling, place the salmon under the broiler and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Once the salmon is cooked to your liking, remove it from the oven or broiler.
- Finally, garnish your Sweet Chili Salmon with sesame seeds and scallions if desired. Serve hot and enjoy the deliciousness!
