Method
- Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grab a large mixing bowl and pour in the Chex cereal, oyster crackers, and butter spindle pretzels.
- Top the mixture with the taco seasoning mix and canola oil.
- Fold the top down on the bag or stir the ingredients gently in the bowl until they are evenly coated.
- Pour the mix out onto two large baking sheets with sides.
- Place the baking sheets in the preheated oven and set a timer for 1 hour.
- Once the hour is up, check for doneness. The mix should be golden and crunchy, not soft or chewy.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
- Once cooled, transfer your Taco Chex Mix into an airtight container.
